Licensed Counselor Job Description

Join our incredible team of behavioral health professionals for the opportunity to transform lives through individual, couples, family, or group counseling! We have two locations with multiple suites in Gilbert. If you're looking to challenge yourself while providing care on your own schedule, we strongly encourage you to apply for this position.

We are seeking full-time licensed associate counselors and licensed professional counselors.

Benefits of joining Gilbert Counselors:

Flexible Schedule: We offer both Telehealth and in-office sessions. Full-time is 28-32 hours.

Invested in Your Success and Professional Development: Our team recognizes that our success only comes after you find success and as a team, we focus on communication with regular check ins, clinical and administrative collaboration, transparency, and providing resources and training. Our practice is focused on understanding your goals in order to help you achieve them.

Provide Unparalleled Clinical Care: Delivering high-quality care becomes simpler when you have the right tools. Here at Gilbert Counselors, we manage all cases, files, progress notes and treatment plans on the Valant EHR platform. These features are accessible on a browser (Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are recommended for maximum compatibility). Most features are also available on the tablets.

Valant EHR Software: All of Valant's clinical tools are designed for collaboration, consistency, and quality. Features include clean, professional and compliant clinical documentation, efficient scheduling through a fully integrated calendar, intake and routine assessments electronically, and new-patient paperwork available through eSignature, a secure Patient Portal account that allows patients to complete a wide-variety of self-service tasks (including online bill pay), built-in measures and assessments to measure the outcomes of your patient care.

Clinical Documentation: Assessment data and auto-generated clinical summaries are pre-populated from the intake questionnaires and outcome measures prior to the appointment. Historical notes, chart data, outcomes data, clinical questionnaires and billing information can be carried forward from one note to the next, eliminating the hassle of starting from scratch for each visit. Pre-designed and ready-to-use note templates designed for SOAP, CBT, DBT, and more turn your clinical notetaking into an efficient process.

Experienced Administrative Team: Our highly efficient front-desk and admin department manages billing, insurance claims, and other front-desk tasks. The admin checks patients in, collects payments, answers questions regarding billing and insurance, and relays messages from our website and phone to providers in our practice. This allows the therapist to focus more on their relationship and treatment with clients and takes the hassle out of getting paid.

Insurances we are contracted with: PPO Aetna, Cigna, and BCBS. Affordable private pay rates for patients: $70 intern, $125 LAC, and $160-$175 LPC. These rates are subject to change annually.
