Each DBT course covers one module of DBT Skills and will include: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Emotion Regulation.
Skills are focused on exploring the connection between emotions, thoughts, physical sensations and the interaction with your surroundings.
The objectives of the skills group are to introduce skills that can help decrease or eliminate self-destructive behaviors, achieve emotional balance, enhance relationships, increase awareness and tolerate distress more effectively.
Our DBT groups meet once a week for six weeks.
