Welcome to Gilbert Counselors, my goal is to support you in identifying your true self by providing a holistic approach in finding balance within your body, mind, and spirit. I utilize an eclectic approach to treatment with the foundation being cognitive behavioral therapy, while incorporating solution focused, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques. There is never a one size fits all too mental health and you deserve to be treated as an individual. My ability to be flexible and meet you where you are, while being culturally sensitive, could be just the approach you need.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s of Science in Community Counseling from Shippensburg University, (PA) and a Dual Master’s of Art in Christian Studies with emphasis on Leadership and Youth Ministry from Grand Canyon University (AZ). In addition, I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and an AZ Board approved Clinical Supervisor with over 12 years’ counseling experience. I have worked with individuals of all ages (birth-90) in a variety of locations (outpatient, schools, jail, and private/residential homes). I help those struggling with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, bipolar, parenting or relationship issues etc. I am an empathic and straight forward counselor and together we can help you reach your full potential so that you will be able to manage life stressors more effectively, make difficult decisions and live a more content life.
