Hello! My name is Samantha Clay, and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor. I work under the direct supervision of Terri Roman, LPC. I have a BS in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University and a MA in Counseling from the University of Arizona.
A part of my approach includes understanding the various identities you may have, what they mean to you, and how they impact your journey. A few of the identities my clients have may include race, gender, religion, sexuality, or being a caregiver or a student. It is an honor and a privilege to work alongside people as they work toward change and healing.
I believe that asking for help is one of the bravest things we can do. Sharing our pain is vulnerable, but healing occurs when we share our stories. I strive to create a space where you feel safe to share your story, and we will work together to write your new ending.
I integrate different counseling techniques, such as Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness to best address your needs. I have
experience working with children (6+), adolescents, and adults. I strive to take a collaborative approach and work together as a team with my clients. I believe that you have the power to create change in your life, and my role is to support you as you access that power and work
toward change.
