Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to read a little about me.
My name is Marc Wilson. I am an intern practicing under the supervision of Terri Roman, LPC. I have been a Board-Certified Music Therapist for 20 years working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. Currently, I am finishing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at the campus program at University of Phoenix.
Throughout my professional experience and studies, I have gravitated toward the theories that I will be learning throughout my internship. I operate through the lens of honesty and strive to help others explore their personal core values and beliefs. Because every individual is unique, it is important for a person to understand that values and beliefs are the foundation to address personal issues and build a happy and healthy self.
While I once aspired to be a rock star and change the world through music, my more realistic goal now is to help change people’s lives through honest, supportive, and empathic counseling.
