Kristen Moleski, LAC

My passion has always been helping others and I have spent my career and life dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those I work with. I am committed to providing a non-judgmental therapeutic environment that fosters growth, change, and new perspectives. I believe in viewing each client from their own unique story and circumstances. Along the way, I celebrate each step with you while continuing to challenge further growth. I view it as a privilege to get to know you, share in your story, and work towards fulfilling your goals.

I have experience in a wide variety of settings including crisis, inpatient, and outpatient services. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults of all ages in individual, couple, family, or group contexts. I work with a wide range of issues and concerns including but not limited to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, relationship/family distress, grief, trauma, crisis, mood disorders, self-esteem, and phase of life changes.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and have further training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In each session, I incorporate elements of Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques. I am further expanding my knowledge by working towards becoming certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with an emphasis on attachment-based interventions. Continuing my education and keeping up with the latest evidence-based treatment approaches is a priority of mine in order to provide you with an individualized and refined approach.

I am currently licensed as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) under the direct supervision of Julia Spain. I obtained my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University and have enjoyed every moment of my journey to where I am now able to share my passion with those I work with.

It is my goal to help empower you to draw on your inner strengths, resources, and perseverance to overcome the obstacles you are currently facing. I hope to work with you as an ally to help bring lasting changes to your life.
