Hello! My name is Karen. I’m a Mindfulness Coach at Gilbert Counselors under the direct supervision of Terri Roman, LPC. I hold a Masters in Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I’m also a Registered Dietitian and I’ve found mental health impacts so many areas of our lives including nutrition.
Through teaching and strengthening mindfulness skills with clients, I seek to help children and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and difficult life situations. My goal is to provide a supportive environment to clients where they feel heard as well as empower them with new skills to help them through difficulties. I believe in collaborating with the client on the goals and pace throughout the process of the work
I’ve lived in Arizona over 20 years and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also love long distance running, yoga, and listening to podcasts.
