Hello! My name is Josh Brody. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor practicing under the supervision of Julia Spain, LPC.

I'm  originally from New Jersey, spent ten  years in California (and a few  years in between) and have been in the  Valley since 2005. My  professional identity rests on the belief that all  people possess the  inherent capacity for positive change, regardless of  circumstances or  family of origin. However, the greatest challenge most  people face is a  lifetime's worth of cognitive distortions that speak  to the opposite -  which is where competent and client-centered therapy  proves most  valuable.

I have many years'  experience counseling  adults with Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) in  inpatient and intensive  outpatient (IOP) milieus. Outside of work, I  write screenplays &  teleplays, play guitar, and try to help my older  teenagers navigate  high school and the common pitfalls therein.
