Anna Binting, MC Intern

As humans, we strive to feel safe, heard, and understood. Without these three components, we may be left feeling lost, broken, or insufficient as an individual. In therapy, my goal is to help you feel whole again as you take this step forward to a journey of healing. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment to explore the obstacles that are keeping you from living a more meaningful life.

As an intern therapist, I am under the direct supervision of Julia Spain, LPC. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology within a minor in Family and Human Development, and I am finishing a Master of Science in Professional Counseling.  I hold over two years of experience working in the behavioral health field, working with individuals, couples, and families from an age range of 2-93. The range of issues that I have experience working with includes: anxiety and depression, trauma and abuse, marital and couple’s conflict, developmental and intellectual disabilities, substance use and addiction, and mood disorders.

In session, therapy will be approached in a holistic manner, emphasizing on unraveling the root cause of the problems you are experiencing in contrast to focusing solely on the symptoms. I incorporate aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Person-Centered Theory into therapy. Together, we will custom plan an approach that best supports you as an individual.

I welcome you into starting this journey of growth and healing. I strive to ensure that you will be warmly supported each step of the way. Below you can find my contact information and the forms for your initial session.
